WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program consisting of a mix of calisthenics, body weight exercises, and aerobic exercise.

CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program, but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of 10 recognized fitness domains.

Those domains are cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.

CrossFit gyms use equipment from a multiple of disciplines.

Equipment for CrossFit can include barbells, gymnastic rings, pull-up bars, medicine balls, resistance bands, row machines, and kettlebells.
